I am actively involved in a Nottingham based magazine and website called LeftLion and have been its Music Editor since 2008.

I am actively involved in a Nottingham based magazine and website called LeftLion and have been its Music Editor since 2008.
This blog has been going on-and-off and in various incarnations since about 2006. I used to used to use it as a place to copy-and-paste articles that I had penned for various publications such as my university magazine and LeftLion, but that was pretty tedious.
In the spring of 2014 I decided to delete all of the previous posts and start again. Rip it up and start again, as a Scottish band once sang.
Instead of just regurgitating content that has already been published elsewhere, I want to use this as a space where I can write and post about things that I don't necessarily have the opportunity to do so elsewhere. I am thinking of it as essentially a place to practice my writing away from the public gaze. If anyone happens to stumble across this blog and find a post interesting, then great; but I am not imaging having any kind of audience, I just want to write and share things that are on my mind or interest me.
